Abstract

Ergonomics and occupational health are essential components of occupational safety and health because they directly influence employee comfort, physical capacity, work efficiency, and productivity. This study aimed to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of ergonomics and occupational health on the work productivity of production employees at a manufacturing company in Karawang Regency. A quantitative approach with a causal associative and cross-sectional survey design was employed. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 80 production employees selected using purposive sampling based on active employment status and a minimum working period of six months. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicated that ergonomics and occupational health had positive and significant effects on work productivity, both partially and simultaneously. These findings demonstrate that appropriate workplace design, manageable workloads, adequate rest periods, and effective employee health programs can improve work efficiency, output quality, and target achievement
